How to delete your ConnectAndBuy account from the website or the apps, and exactly what happens to your information.
Your account closes: your listings, spotlights and business page come down, nobody can call or message you, and no notifications are sent.
We erase your profile, listings and photographs, business page, spotlights, updates, requests, saved items and searches, notifications, connections, vouches, follows, identity checks and the reviews about you.
Changed your mind before then? Sign in, and everything comes back as it was.
Our daily backups are kept for 14 days, so the erased account is gone from them within 14 days more.
Messages you sent stay in the other person’s inbox, and reviews and community posts you wrote stay up, shown as from a former member — they are part of other people’s conversations and reputations.
Records of orders, payments, escrow and disputes are kept, without your contact details, for as long as the law requires.
Orders that are still open, or money still held in escrow, have to be completed, cancelled or released first. The deletion page tells you which.
Reset your password from the sign-in screen, then delete the account from Settings. If that is not possible, email privacy@connectandbuy.com from the address the account uses, and we will delete it for you.
